DECLARATION OF PRINCIPLES

A code of conduct is a necessary thing, when you are dealing with the lives, hopes and dreams of a human being, but we feel that it is also good for people to have an idea of where we are comiong from - A basic declaration of the ideology and principles that are incorporated in everything that we do. We believe that the desire for peace, harmony and freedom is inborn; inherent and natural in all; That every human being is born equal; That it is the right of each and every human being to have an equal opportunity for a healthy, happy, fulfilling life in the manner of their own choosing.

The folowing is an extract from a tv series called Babylon 5, which has been slightly paraphrased; it says everything that needs to be said on this subject. You may take it any way that you wish, but bear in mind that it works on a number of levels - those of you conversant with quantum mechanics will no doubt have heard of Bell's Theorem - you might like to bear it in mind as you read [also Heisenberg's uncertainty principle and of course, Schroedinger...]:

 "The universe speaks in many languages, but only one voice. It speaks not in English or African; Russian or American; no language that can be claimed by any race or species; It speaks in the language of trust; it speaks in the language of strength and the language of compassion; It is the language of the heart and the language of the soul, And always it is the same voice; it is the voice of our ancestors, speaking through us; the voice of our children and their children waiting to be born; it is the small, still, undeniable voice that says:

”We are one”.

No matter the blood; no matter the colour; NO MATTER the creed or the country. No matter the pain; no matter the fear; No matter the crime.

We Are One. 

We agree to recognise this singular truth and this singular rule – that we must be kind to one another, because each voice found enriches us and ennobles us; and each voice lost diminishes us.  We – all of us, are the voice of the universe; our hopes our dreams and our desires are the fire that lights the way to a better future.  WE ARE ONE"
